Emergency services rushed to south west London after two homes collapsed.
Firefighters, paramedics and police scrambled to Lower Mortlake Road in Richmond yesterday when two houses “under renovation” crumbled into rubble.
Pictures on social media show the roof and half the wall of the properties reduced to rubble.
The wealthy road is home to properties which have sold for up to £889,000.

London Fire Brigade issue statement
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters were called to reports of a building collapse on Lower Mortlake Road in Richmond.
“Most of two terraced houses under renovation collapsed. There are currently no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 1456 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1711.
“Two fire engines and a Fire Rescue Unit from Richmond, Acton and Heston fire stations attended the scene.”
