Prince Harry is known to have travelled to the UK last week to attend the funeral of his uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, in Norfolk.

After the death was announced at the end of July, it was widely understood that Harry would be unable to attend the funeral due to “security concerns”. However, it was later announced that Harry had “discreetly” made his way to the UK.

Much to everyone’s surprise – including attendees at the private funeral – Harry made it to the service with very few people knowing of his plans.

In episode one of the new season of A Right Royal Podcast, Hello!’s royal editor Emily Nash said Harry kept his visit a secret so “it wouldn’t distract from the funeral itself”.

Stating that the 39-year-old’s “key motivation” was that he did not want the funeral to become a spectacle, she added: “He didn’t want this to be the focus of, obviously, a very sad day for his family.”

Insider reveals King Charles health update and Camilla’s crucial role in ‘turbulent’ year

King Charles has today, September 8, reached the second anniversary of his accession to the throne and the death of Queen Elizabeth II.While it has been a rather turbulent year for the Royal Family, with two cancer diagnoses and a continued “Sussex problem” across the pond, King Charles, 75, has soldiered on to keep his rather “slimmed down” monarchy strong.According to a source, the monarch’s health is finally heading in an “extremely positive” direction and he’s said to be coming to terms with a life as King. The source adds that the sovereign “misses his mummy terribly” and is keen to mark her passing with a trip to Crathie Kirk on the Balmoral estate for private reflection and prayers. No other formal remembrance plans are in place for the day – as per convention.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle brutally ‘snubbed’ late Queen twice before royal exit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared to brutally “snub” the late Queen Elizabeth II twice in 2019 – just weeks before their royal exit.

According to expert Robert Lacey, Meghan and Harry refused two separate invitations from the late monarch to spend time with the Royal Family.

Back in 2019, the late monarch invited the couple and their then-newborn son Archie to spend some of the summer holiday with her at Balmoral.

The second invitation came when the late Queen wanted Harry, Meghan and Archie – now aged five – to spend Christmas at Sandringham. The family, instead, opted to spend six weeks in Canada instead.
