And Sinead Kennedy, who gave birth to her beautiful baby boy last November, is expected to make a welcomed return.

The 40-year-old said: “I look forward to coming back to my job. Keep the seat warm for me because I’m not going anywhere!”

The TV trio wrapped up the previous season of the show for their annual summer break back in May.

And with Sinead on maternity leave, the jam-packed season was filled with many new hosts.

RTE star Maura Derrane stuns on air

Maura, who usually presents the show every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, fronted for the entire week until Christmas, before going back to her usual schedule.

At the beginning of the year, guest presenters began to host alongside Daithi on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The Kerry native opened up about the busy season as he told RSVP Magazine: “It’s going really well. There’s always a worry that the audience at home only likes seeing the same people every day.

“We tried this out before, on Sinead’s first maternity leave, and it worked really well.

“We’ve had Laura Woods, Lorraine Keane, Ciara Revins, Meghann Scully, James Patrice, Tracy Clifford and Elaine Kinsella in studio and they’ve all been great.

“They fitted in well. The viewing figures have been very high.

“Of course I’m still presenting with Maura Derrane for half the week as well.”
