Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has completed his loan move to Galatarsaray from Napoli
Osimhen was a subject of interest for Al Ahli and Chelsea before the close of the transfer window, but he has now teamed up with Turkish champions until the end of the season.
Napoli have also reached an agreement with Osimhen, which means they retain an option to extend his contract until 2027, the Serie A club said in a statement.
According to reports, There will be no clause to buy and there is an option for Osimhen to leave Galatasaray in the January transfer if a club activates his release clause, which will now be reduced to €75m.
Osimhen is expected to earn €6 million a year at Galatarsaray after signing a one-year loan deal.
He led Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years in the 2022-23 season, scoring 26 goals to win the league’s top scorer award.
The 25-year-old joined Napoli in 2020 and played 133 games for the Serie A club, scoring 76 times.
Osimhen is expected to make his Galatarsaray debut after the international break against Rizespor on September 14. He is also expected to wear jersey number 45.
