Go big or go home
- Pokémon Go has introduced the hotly-anticipated Dynamax feature

Pokémon Go has unveiled new details about the hotly-anticipated Dynamax battles and how they’ll work, including where you need to go and what you need to collect in order to max out your favourite Pokémon! This unique phenomenon causes your Pokémon to become even more powerful and lets your supersized Pokemon duke it out in unique new battles.
Firstly, you can’t just use Dynamax with any Pokémon you find off the street, you’ll need to capture some that are actually capable of doing so. Fortunately, the introductory To the Max! special research will ensure you have at least a few to send into battle.
And what about Dynamaxing itself? Well, to do that you’ll need to collect MP, or Max Particles, by walking or visiting Power Spots. Once you’ve accrued enough MP (there’s a cap) you’ll be able to jump in with up to four other trainers into Dynamax Battles for some amazing rewards!
Maxed out
I will say the one thing I find rather goofy about this is the reveal that apparently Dynamax is a phenomenon that just makes Pokémon appear larger. Which I’m calling hogwash on, considering there’s looking bigger and looking like you’re the size of Godzilla.
