Pharrell Williams’ Piece by Piece is expected to appear in theaters on Oct. 11. On Thursday (Aug. 29), he shared the poster for his animated biopic. It featured LEGO-fied versions of himself and his peers, including Kendrick Lamar, N.O.R.E., Snoop Dogg and more.

In the film’s flyer, Williams’ LEGO figure dons a pixelated camouflage suit, which he notably wore at his debut runway show for Louis Vuitton’s spring 2024 menswear collection. Meanwhile, Lamar’s look included his iconic titanium and pavé diamond crown of thorns, custom-made by Tiffany & Co. for 2022’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

Elsewhere in the artwork were Daft Punk and Gwen Stefani, with whom he worked on “Get Lucky” and “Can I Have It Like That,” respectively. Among the other artists slated to appear in the upcoming project are Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes and director Morgan Neville.

“When I had this crazy vision to tell this story through LEGO bricks, I couldn’t have imagined a better partner than Morgan,” Williams shared back in January. “Building with LEGO bricks encourages us to follow our imagination… Who would’ve thought that playing with these toys as a kid would evolve into a movie about my life? It’s proof that anyone else can do it, too.”

“In partnering with the inimitable Morgan Neville and the limitless creativity of the LEGO brand, his visionary spirit comes to life in a wholly unique and uplifting way that will inspire everyone to dance, to sing, and to use their voice to build the world they want to see brick by brick, and piece by piece,” Focus Features Chairman Peter Kujawski chimed in.

Outside of his quasi-documentary, Williams also worked on another animated project set to drop in 2024: Dullsville and the Doodleverse. The Virginia native produced its three-song soundtrack, which will boast guest appearances from Coi Leray, Lil Wayne, Kyle Richh, Swae Lee and Lil Yachty.
